Design a mobile-based solution for your companyto sell to your clients. The system that you develop needs to be in the area of sales.In this assessment you will be creating a mobile-based solution to solve a businessprocess issue, incorporating some of the contemporary technologies that have beendiscussed in the course. Your report will need to demonstrate how the technologiescan fit/work together.
A brief summary of today’s discussion is as follows:
We’ll be handling with the taxi companies and we’ll be trying to sell them our service which will improve their quality of business processes. We’ll be focusing more on the “Customer Service Quality” but we’ll be improving their “Business Quality” at the same as we’ll be changing the way they’re doing their business.
All the businesses look for low cost and high value so that’ll be our goal when selling our service.
On the Business Quality angle we have:
1- Offering more choices for the customers to book and pay for the service
e.g. booking: online via their account or on the phone, payment: cash, card or via online account
2- Taxi-tracking system: each taxi’s location will be tracked by the company so when the customer asks for a taxi, a time and distance estimation to customer’s location will be provided to the customer. and if the taxi will be extending this estimated time for some reason (for example due to traffic jam or closed roads), the estimated time and distance will be recalculated in real time.
3- Taxipoints: generating a system to recognize the frequent customers and to encourage loyalty in the others.
On the Customer Service Quality angle:
1- The taxi map: before booking a taxi, customers will be able to see the free and busy taxis in their area from the taxi map (free taxi indicator: green, busy taxi indicator: red)
2- Taxi-tracking system: After customers book their taxi online, the real-time estimated time and distance will be visible to them if they logged in from their online account and if the estimated time changes for some reason it will be shown on the customer’s screen as well.
