Must be APA Format Students will write a reflective autobiography that explores and conveys their ethnic/cultural sense of self and current interaction with different others (diversity). In other words this autobiography explore diversity of self and diversity of others. The ethnic autobiography focuses on the writer’s experience and awareness of belonging to a particular ethnic group. It often focuses on the awareness of conflicts that emerge between two or more ethnic groups in the same location, or on social and political aspects of ethnic experience. Professional resources pertaining to the ethnic/cultural group(s) should be integrated as well as relevance to social work practice. Worth 20 percent of their overall grade, the purpose of this paper is to provide students with a focused opportunity to explore and build their own cultural awareness.
